Burquitlam.Solutions is a small, senior consulting practice that solves one named business problem at a time for owners working the Burquitlam–Lougheed area and wider Coquitlam. It belongs to the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, a Canadian group headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and is led by Ali Sedighi, MBA.

Why a practice for this neighbourhood

A tower neighbourhood growing on top of an older one creates a particular set of business problems, and they deserve someone who has thought about them specifically. Generic advice about "growing your business" doesn't tell a plumber how to get past a concierge, or tell a café how to reach households who moved in last month.

So we narrowed the brief. We focus on four problems that this area produces again and again: reaching new tower residents, strata access and booking, calls missed during building jobs and tracking across two cities. If your problem is outside those four, we'll tell you and, where we can, point you to the right kind of help.

Ali Sedighi, MBA

Ali Sedighi leads the practice. He holds an MBA in Technology Management and has 17+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth and technology consulting, starting in 2007, when he founded ONE.ir, a full-service digital marketing agency. He now lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia.

He's the founder of Conv.ca, a conversion-rate optimisation agency, and of MyAutomation.ca, and he's Founder & Managing Partner of SAZ.ca. Over his career he has worked with clients in Canada, the USA and Dubai, and he has built 150+ live HVAC websites, including CombiBoiler.ca, GasBoilers.ca, RomaHeating.ca and BCWide.ca.

That background matters for this practice in two ways. Conversion work trains you to look at where people drop out of a process, which is exactly what happens at a tower lobby or an unanswered phone. Automation work trains you to build routines that run without the owner standing over them.

How the group fits together

The Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group is Canadian and serves clients across the country from Vancouver.

  • Sedighi.ca is Ali Sedighi's growth, marketing and technology consulting company. Among the brands under it are Conv.ca, BusinessConsulting.ca, Trades.Agency, HVAC.Digital and HVAC.Agency.
  • SAZ.ca (Strategy & Acceleration Zone) handles strategy, AI and revenue acceleration work for Canadian clients. Ali is its Founder & Managing Partner, with Sedighi.ca setting the strategic direction.

Burquitlam.Solutions works within the SAZ.ca side. Our engagements follow SAZ.ca's formats, described on the engagements page, and we don't publish prices.

How we work

Every engagement follows the same discipline, whatever the problem:

  1. Name it. We write the problem in one or two sentences that you agree with.
  2. Measure it. We count it from your own records: phone logs, calendars, profile insights, invoices.
  3. Fix it in your accounts. Settings, templates and records live in tools you own.
  4. Write the routine. A short, plain document your staff can follow.
  5. Check it. We look again a few weeks later to see whether the fix held.

We meet in person or by video call and work by phone, text, email and shared screens. That keeps the work fast and keeps the cost of the engagement in the fix.

What a first engagement usually looks like

Most owners start small. A typical first engagement looks at one problem, such as callers lost while the crew works underground, over a few weeks. We count the problem from two to four weeks of records, agree the fix, set it up with whoever runs your phones or bookings, and hand over a one-page routine.

A few weeks later we look at the same numbers again. If the fix held, you have a working routine and a clear before-and-after figure. If it didn't, we find out why before suggesting anything else. Only then do we talk about whether a second problem is worth solving.

What we won't do

Clear limits make for honest work. We don't perform trade work, installs, repairs or inspections. We don't interpret strata bylaws or give legal advice. We don't promise rankings, leads or revenue figures, and we don't publish reviews or client quotes. Our case studies are results from our HVAC work, labelled as such.

If you'd like to talk through a problem, the contact page explains what to send, or browse the frequently asked questions first.

Frequently asked questions

Who will we actually work with?

Your first conversation is with a senior partner, and Ali Sedighi leads the practice. We don't hand you to a junior account manager after the consultation, and the proposal names who does the work.

Is Burquitlam.Solutions a separate company?

It's a focused practice within the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies. The strategy method comes from SAZ.ca, the group's firm for strategy, AI and revenue acceleration.

Do you have an office in Burquitlam?

No. The group is headquartered in Vancouver, BC, and this practice works with businesses in the Burquitlam–Lougheed area and the rest of Coquitlam. We don't list a local office, and consultations are available in person or by video call, phone, text and email.

Do you install, repair or inspect anything?

No. We're business consultants. We never perform trade work, inspections or code-compliance services, and we don't give legal advice about strata rules.
