Engagements, scoped to the problem

We don't publish prices. Each engagement is scoped to the problem you bring, starting with a complimentary, confidential consultation with a senior partner, and every proposal states scope, fee and terms in writing.

We don't publish prices. Each engagement is built around a single problem, and the work needed to fix one business's missed calls can be very different from another's. Instead, the first step is a complimentary, confidential consultation with a senior partner, and you get a written proposal with scope, fee and terms before anything starts.

  • Revenue Acceleration (90-day sprint)

Engagements are scoped individually. No published prices.

Complimentary, confidential consultation with a senior partner.

Sales tax is added based on the client's province (as of October 2026, CRA rates): 5% GST in Alberta, BC, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Yukon, NWT and Nunavut; 13% HST in Ontario; 14% HST in Nova Scotia; 15% HST in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and PEI; 5% GST plus 9.975% QST in Quebec. Provincial sales tax (BC, Manitoba, Saskatchewan) only where it applies to the service.

The three engagement formats

All Burquitlam.Solutions work uses one of the three formats offered through SAZ.ca. Which one fits depends on the size of the problem, not on a package tier.

Revenue Acceleration (90-day sprint)

A focused 90-day effort aimed at one commercial outcome. For a business in this area, a sprint might pair new-resident visibility ahead of a building handover with call coverage so the new demand actually reaches someone. The sprint has a fixed start, a fixed end and an agreed measure of success.

AI consulting

Practical automation for small teams: automatic text replies to missed callers, templates that draft strata access requests, intake questions that fill your enquiry record without retyping. We set these up in tools you control and document how they work. AI here is a means to save staff time, not a feature for its own sake.

Strategy and executive advisory

For owners facing a bigger decision, such as whether to open a second location on the other side of North Road, whether to focus on tower work or detached homes, or how to restructure dispatch as the business grows. This is a senior conversation with written recommendations rather than a build.

What shapes the scope

A handful of factors determine how much work a fix involves. Knowing them helps you prepare for the first conversation.

  • How many people and tools are involved. A sole operator with one phone is simpler than a team of eight sharing a dispatch inbox.
  • The state of your records. If your phone log, calendar and invoices are accessible, measurement is quick. If they're scattered, part of the work is gathering them.
  • How many sources or buildings are in play. Tracking six paid sources takes longer than tracking two; a building record for forty towers takes longer than for five.
  • Whether you want us to build or to advise. Some owners want the fix configured for them; others want a plan their own staff carry out.
  • The timeline you need. Work tied to a specific handover date has a hard deadline and is planned around it.

How to choose

Start from the problem rather than the format. If you can name one clear problem and want it fixed, a single-problem engagement under AI consulting or a short sprint usually fits. If you have two related problems and a deadline, a 90-day sprint makes sense. If you're weighing a decision rather than fixing a leak, choose advisory.

The services overview helps you decide which problem to start with, and the FAQ covers common questions about terms and ownership.

Questions to ask any consultant about fees

Whether you hire us or someone else, a few questions protect you. What exactly is in scope, and what isn't? How is progress measured, and against what starting number? What happens if the work takes longer than planned? Who owns the accounts and documents at the end? A good proposal answers all of these in writing before you sign.

What's always included

Whatever the format, a few things hold. Accounts and settings stay in your name. The routine we write is yours to keep. The proposal spells out every term in writing, including length, payment schedule and how either side can end the engagement. Canadian clients add 5% GST.

When you're ready, contact us with a one-line description of the problem. You'll talk to a senior partner, not a salesperson.

Frequently asked questions

Why don't you publish prices?

Because the work varies too much. Setting up a callback rule for a two-person crew and building tracking for a business with six paid sources aren't the same job. A published number would mislead one of them.

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes. The first conversation is a complimentary, confidential consultation with a senior partner. You'll leave it knowing whether we think we can help and which engagement would fit.

Do you charge GST?

Canadian clients add 5% GST. The proposal shows the fee and the tax separately.

Are there long contracts or hidden fees?

Every term, including length, payment schedule and how either side can end the engagement, is written in your proposal before you agree. If something isn't in the proposal, it isn't part of the deal.
